VIDEO: How To Keep Tinted Moisturizer From Rubbing Off (for Combo/Oily Skin)
When I got the reformulated Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector in PR, I was excited to see what the hype was all about. I’m a BIG fan of LM foundations and powders already but haven’t had my luck at testing out their tinted moisturizers. Both times I bought it in the past, I ended up getting the wrong shade and had to give it away.
Anyway, I’ve been testing out the new formula for the past month before finally sitting down to film a review. I wanted to get to know the product beforehand and see if there was a way to keep tinted moisturizer from rubbing off. The formula is sheer and hydrating and leaves the skin with a beautiful dewy finish, and since I have combination skin, powder is a must to prevent my makeup from fading.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you my tricks on how to keep your makeup from fading if you have oily/combo skin. Oh, and I’ll be using mainly Laura Mercier products as a nod to my love for the brand.

One Outfit Styled Two Ways
I love a good blazer as much as the next dude. It’s an easy way to dress up an outfit and feel like you have your shit together, which is why the top half portion of my closet consists of them. I know that doesn’t mean anything to you since you have nothing to compare it to, and that's why we’re only focusing on two blazers everyone should have in their collection - a good ol’ beige jacket, and a classic grey plaid one.
Here, the fundamentals of my outfit stay the same, a black bodysuit, Alexander Wang combat boots, and a pair of Adidas joggers. (LOL’ing at this a little because I was too lazy to put on trousers.)
All I did was change up the jacket and the bag, and voila, a new outfit.
It just goes to show that you don’t have to overthink what you wear, trying to think of a new outfit every day. When something works, it works.
1// For this outfit, I’m wearing an LPA blazer from Revolve. This shorter jacket has full sleeves and wide lapel for a different cut. I accessorized with my Louis Vuitton Monogram leather empreinte bumbag to give the look an edgier vibe. (Watch my YouTube review on this bag here.)
2// For this look, I went for a structured and tailored jacket. I scored this one on sale at Zara a year or more ago, and it’s proven to be a good investment as I’ll often reach for it. To give the jacket some contract, I accessorized with my Kara biker wallet with a giant silver chain. It makes an edgy statement and ties the aesthetic back to the metal hardware on my Alexander Wang Kennah boots.

3 Chic Winter Approved Street Style Outfits To Copy
Winter is here and that means coats, sweaters, and boots for the absolute necessity of keeping us warm. Whether or not you embrace the dropping temps, I’m sure we can all agree that feeling and looking put together is key.
I remember there was a time in my life when I was wearing Ugg boots and those big duvet style coats. Let me reiterate, this was many years ago. Looking back now, I can see how my dowdy winter attire affected my mood in the worst way. I hated going out because of the cold and I resented winter for making me dress like a potato.
Anyway, now that you get where I’m coming from, you’ll understand why I take the time to put together these winter mood boards. Sure, it’s about looking good, but ultimately it’s about feeling confident with yourself because winter is long and we’re only in November.

For this video I wanted to try the Wayne Goss Natural Invisible Foundation Technique using some new Armani Beauty products that were sent to me in PR - the Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer, Power Fabric Longwear High Coverage Foundation, and Prima Smart Moisture Serum.
Wanye is such a fabulous makeup artist and always so much fun to watch on YouTube. I’ve tried many of his techniques and not a single one has ever failed me. I was interested to see how putting so much makeup on my face could possibly look natural, while putting some Armani Beauty to the test. The results are VERY natural and look seamless and dewy even in the daylight. Oh - and it lasted up unto the end of the day too. Highly recommend trying this if you guys have an event or wedding to attend and are looking for natural, beautiful makeup.
