THE REVIEW
For starters, I'm a big fan of tinted moisturizers and light coverage makeup. Typically I only wear foundation if I'm in front of the camera or if I have an event, which are all now being conducted virtually these days due to the pandemic.
The packaging for Eaze Drop has a cute shape and the plastic squeezable bottle is similar to that of my other favourite tinted moisturizer from Chanel’s Les Beiges line.
The liquid formula from Eaze Drop is sheer enough so there's a little bit of flexibility with the 25 available shades. (For reference, I'm shade 5, a light-medium shade with warm undertones.)
I love how the texture feels light and smoothes over my skin easily. It also doesn't enhance pores, fine lines, or textures.
Due to the sheer nature of Eaze Drop, I like to use a medium coverage concealer like Fenty's Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer around my under eyes and dark spots to cover up blemishes. That way I get coverage where I need it and the rest of my skin looks natural.
Considering I have combination skin (oily t-zone, normal cheeks), I have to set Eaze Drop with powder otherwise my natural face oils will just melt my makeup away. Sometimes I'll use a setting spray, but I find the makeup stays put either way as long as I set it with powder.
Other than the long-lasting formula, I like that this makeup doesn't settle into my pores, fine lines, nor does it enhance dry patches on my skin.
Overall, this is a brilliant tinted moisturizer that will be replacing my Chanel Les Beiges Tint this summer.
If you're looking for a quick and easy to apply makeup with a natural finish you'll probably want to check out Fenty's Eaze Drop. If you prefer a medium-full coverage makeup, skip it and try Fenty's Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation instead and you won't be disappointed.

Spanish luxury house, Loewe, has completely won me over in the last couple of years.
From their handcrafted leather handbags to their beautifully constructed clothes, I just want to wrap myself in everything Loewe.
That dream is becoming more of a reality with the expansion of Loewe Perfumes.
With a variety of scents for men and women, Loewe has characterized the collection into seven fragrance families for women; Solo, Aire, Aura, Agua, 001, Paula's Ibiza, and Un Paseo Por Madrid (which translates into "A Walk Through Madrid"). And six fragrance families for men; Solo, Loewe 7, Pour Homme, Esencia, 001, and Agua.
In this post, we'll be reviewing four Loewe fragrances - 001 and Agua, for men and women.

LOEWE 001 is a family of fragrances inspired by new beginnings and early morning light capturing the essence of the morning after a couple has spent the night together. 001 are fragrances to share and be worn together or alone.
Fresh and contemporary, LOEWE 001 Woman combines notes of musk, linen, and pink peony.
The top notes include bright and sparkling, fresh citrus with bergamot, and tangerine. The heart has Egyptian jasmine with a touch of clean linen accompanied by sandalwood to warm up the scent. The modern heart feels fresh, floral, and fruity, making this scent truly unique.
LOEWE 001 Woman is a gourmand scent. The perfume comes encapsulated by a clean, translucent glass block-shaped flask in a shade of pale yellow topped with a wooden cap.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Tangerine.
Heart Notes: Sandalwood, Egyptian Jasmine, Linen Chord.
Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla, Amber.
LOEWE 001 Man is a woody, spicy fragrance characterized by the elegance of lavender at the heart and the strength of musk at the base notes.
Still, 001 Man feels fresh and energetic due to the Sicilian lemon and lime, balanced by the softness of the orange flower and a hint of tonka bean making this one of my favourite Loewe scents.
LOEWE 001 Man combines notes of musk, sandalwood, and lavender. The scent comes encapsulated by a clean, translucent glass block-shaped flask topped with a wooden cap.
Top Notes: Sicilian Lemon, Lime, Orange Blossom.
Heart Notes: Red Pepper, Ceylan Cinnamon, Lavender.
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Musk, Tonka Bean.
Agua is a family of fragrances by Loewe inspired by water. (Agua means water in Spanish.)
Agua Ella (for Her) is a feminine and dynamic fragrance that combines notes of lemon, rose, and waterlily.
The top note of lemon comes through but it doesn't feel citrusy. It's rounded off by the heart notes of pineapple (which comes through subtly), complemented by green apple, and cassis which makes this scent feel sparkling and fresh.
Sandalwood and cedar are at the base. They ground Agua Ella, making it a chic and sophisticated fragrance that's easy to wear for both day and night.
While normally I'm drawn to warmer scents, Agua Ella has to be my personal favourites of the four Loewe scents featured in this post.
LOEWE Agua Ella comes encapsulated in a translucent glass flask in natural shade of pink topped with a wooden cap.
Top Notes: Kumquat, Italian Lemon, Italian Bergamot, Passion Fruit.
Heart Notes: Bourbon Pepper, Rose Petals, Water Lily.
Base Notes: Sandalwood from Mysore, Atlas Cedar, Musk.
LOEWE Agua Él (for Him) combines notes of grapefruit, green apple, and pineapple – an ingredient that lends a tropical touch, however, I find Él to be more refreshing and clean than tropical, which typically makes me think of summer scents such as coconut and hibiscus.
Él translates into Him in Spanish and yet this scent isn't overly masculine in the traditional sense. The beauty of Loewe scents is that they can be worn together and layered regardless of gender.
LOEWE Agua Él comes encapsulated in a translucent glass flask in a cool shade of blue topped with a wooden cap.
Top Notes: Japanese Yuzu, Italian Bergamot, Tangerine, Pink Grapefruit.
Heart Notes: Pineapple from Brazil, Spring Water, Green Apple, Cassis.
Base Notes: Sandalwood from Mysore, Atlas Cedar, Olm Oak Moss, Musk.
Now that I’ve had the change to experience some of Loewe’s perfumes for myself, I can say with full honesty that I’m dying to get my hands on their home fragrances and candles next.

Embracing Colour. How to Wear Orange This Spring.

There’s nothing fresher than bold pop of colour for spring. With sunnier days, warm weather, and flowers blooming, adding just one piece of colour to your outfit can instantly shift your mood and brighten your spirits.
I recently got a vintage Evelyne PM bag in that classic Hermes orange and I've craving all things orange since.
I even ended up getting a vintage Hermes Avalon blanket (from LXRCO.com) to bring some colour to my home.
My secret to tying in colour is the same with my wardrobe and home interiors: keep everything else neutral and focus on one colour to make a statement.
For clothing, you can most certainly get away with just a single accent piece. In the instance of the outfit that I'm wearing here, if I was to wear a white t-shirt with the orange bag, or, the orange knit vest and a tan-coloured bag, the outfit would still work well.
However, I find the two orange pieces styled together (bag and knit) elevates the outfit so much more.
With home decor, I prefer to add a couple of accents to tie everything together. An orange blanket with some bright orange ranunculus flowers in a statement Anissa Kermiche boob vase.
Again the rest of the decor is neutral and so the colour stands out in the space while staying sophisticated.
I find playing around with colour to be the simplest way to change up my wardrobe and my home without the commitment.

4 Fabulous Trench Coats Under $120

Last week on my Instagram, @_nathaliemartin, I asked for suggestions on cheap and cheerful trench coats. While I’m looking for a good piece that will last a few years, I’m not quite ready to invest in a designer piece so I gave myself a budget of about $100.
After searching online I kept going back to the coats on H&M. The price point is spot on and the cuts look perfect for spring - classic with a contemporary twist.
Eventually, I settled on the oversized trench for the simple fact that it goes past the knees and looks like some cool, oversized piece that might have come from the Olsen twins' closet.
It’s also made with 100% recycled polyester fabric which makes me feel good about going with a sustainable piece.
Finally, at $119 (CAD) the coat was just a bit out of my set budget, but I happened to have a coupon for 20% off after H&M had messed up a previous order.
SHOPPING TIP: H&M usually has sales on the weekends so look out for them if you want to save anywhere from 10-20% off.
At the end of the day, the waiting game paid off. I got a fabulous trench within my budget and I’m very excited about wearing it this spring.

Treating My Dry Hair with Baobab Essence

I’ve always taken good care of my hair, however with fewer trims and dry conditions means my hair has been on the drier side. I’ve started using Pantene’s Baobab-based hair care to whip my dehydrated hair into shape and get it looking soft again.
Also if I’m honest, it’s been months since my last trim and my ends have been looking parched so this is how I’ve been giving my hair an extra bit of TLC.
My goal is to hydrate my dry hair and so I’ve been using Pantene’s Hydrating Glow Shampoo with Baobab Essence. Similar to the shampoo, the formula is hydrating and vitamin E infused, free of sulfates, parabens, mineral oils, dyes, and it’s also fragrance-free. It keeps the tangles away and hydrates my ends so that my hair looks and feels hydrated and glowy.
Post shower, I’ve been using Pantene’s Thirsty Ends Milk to Water Serum, also from the Hydrating Glow Collection with Baobab Essence.
This milky serum transforms to water and is meant to be used on the ends of the hair to lock in moisture and prevent split ends.
It has long-lasting hydration and can be used on both wet and dry hair to give ends a moisture boost whenever needed.
For my thick, frizz-prone hair, I was happy to see how The Thirsty Ends Milk to Water Serum smoothed out my hair and left it feeling and looking soft and hydrated. I like to use it on my ends whenever they’re looking parched and need a hydration boost.
So by now, you’re wondering what exactly is baobab if you haven’t already heard of it.
WHAT EXACTLY IS BAOBAB?
Baobab is a tree native to Tanzania where the climate is extremely dry and arid. It stores water in its massive trunk and produces nutrient-dense fruit. This is pretty amazing considering the climate it lives in, which is why the baobab is also known as “The Tree of Life”.

Hermès Evelyne PM Bag Review feat. LXRandCo
Over the past couple of years, I've moved away from trendier bags and started collecting more of the classics - Loewe, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and now, Hermès.
While I hadn't planned on owning an Hermès for another couple of years, I decided to go for it after coming across the beautiful Hermès Evelyne PM bag at LXRandCo.
I had spent years collecting trendy designer bags only to sell them later, so why not invest in a timeless brand like Hermès?
For those not familiar with LXRandCo, they're a luxury retailer that has an assortment of modern vintage bags and accessories from Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Celine, Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and Saint Laurent to name a few.
Unlike some other online pre-loved retailers that I've shopped from in the past, LXRandCo has an option to filter the location of where your item is coming from. So for example when I was looking at Hermès bags, I set the filter so that I was only looking at items shipping from Canada, which meant I wouldn't have to worry about customs or duties.
After setting the filter Location to Canada, a couple of Evelyne bags popped up on my screen. They had a beautiful white canvas Evelyne available but it was in the GM size which probably would have been too big for my liking.
After careful consideration, I decided on the classic Hermès orange in the PM size. Not only is the PM better suited for my petite frame, but the colour is everything that Hermès dreams are made of.
I've heard so many amazing things about the Hermès Evelyne but it wasn't until I used the bag for the first time that I truly understood it.
While most of the designer bags in my collection score high on design, the Evelyne bag scores 10/10 for design and function. Here's why:
It's lightweight so that you don't have unnecessary extra weight on your shoulder.
The cotton strap is sturdy. Even though it's thicker than the strap on my Loewe Puzzle bag, this one stays on my shoulder and doesn't slide off because it's made of webbed cotton versus leather.
There are no interior or exterior pockets, however, it fits my Louis Vuitton Toiletry 19 pouch perfectly so that I can store small items like lipstick safely in the bag without having to dig around.
The understated design is elegant which makes it truly versatile, and it suits my personal style perfectly. I can see myself wearing this bag all year long through all four seasons.
I've been fortunate in collecting various handbags throughout the years and I'd say that the Hermès Evelyne PM is probably the perfect everyday bag. And in case you're curious, mine is in the Evelyne I PM in Orange, Epsom leather with palladium hardware.
