This Zara Suit Cost $126 and Looks SO Expensive
WHAT I’M WEARING
BLAZER Zara Gingham blazer, $80
PANTS Zara Gingham pants, $46
BLOUSE Zara satin blouse, $46
GLASSES Bonlook gold aviator frames
SHOES Gucci metallic pink Princetown loafers (sold out colour, similar here)
You all know that I’m a sucker for a good deal, but I’m also extremely careful about what I buy. I’ve been searching for the right pink suit for months now, and when I saw this chic gingham one from Zara, I knew that I'd found it.
I styled it with a blush pink satin blouse (also from Zara) to elevate the look and accessorized the look with my bright pink metallic Gucci loafers. (BTW, I bought these a couple of years ago and haven’t seen this colour repeated in their collection since.)
Who knew head to toe pink could look so badass for spring?

Why Leather Continues to Be A Staple In My Closet This Spring
WHAT I’M WEARING
BLAZER - Zara (sold out, similar here)
SWEATSHIRT - Frank & Oak (sold out, similar here)
PANTS - Mackage leather pants
SUNGLASSES - Saint Laurent blue Bold 2 sunglasses
BRACELET - Saint Laurent leather cuff
CLUTCH - Louis Vuitton monogram pocket agenda
SHOES - 3.1 Phillip Lim patent leather ankle boots (sold out, similar here)
The other day I was invited out to dinner with a big cosmetics brand. Normally an evening out requires some thought on my end about what I’m going to wear and what’s appropriate but that day I peeked into my closet and saw my black leather Mackage pants and ran with it.
I paired it with a cozy sweatshirt to break up the texture and then topped it off with an oversized blazer from Zara - which happens to be oversized so creates juxtaposition and balance with the skinny cut of the pant.
That’s what I love about leather is that it’s edgy, makes an instant statement, and can be dressed up. After all, don’t we all just want to look effortless no matter what the occasion?

My Go To Colour This Spring
WHAT I’M WEARING
BLAZER - Robert Rodriguez (sold out, similar here)
TOP - 3.1 Phillip Lim (sold out, similar here)
JEANS - Aritzia, Denim Forum Ex Boyfriend jeans
BAG - Saint Laurent wallet on a string crossbody bag (sold out, similar here)
SHOES - Saint Laurent high top canvas sneakers (similar here)
SUNGLASSES - Saint Laurent blue Bold 2 sunglasses
BRACELETS - Saint Laurent leather cuff
Spring is just around the corner and I’m thinking about adding more colour to wardrobe to shake things up. While I’m obsessed with (and have always been) with the colour chartreuse, I have to admit that pretty much any colour is welcome in my closet at this point.
The Robert Rodriquez blazer I’m wearing here is part of a two-piece suit that I got a couple of months ago and I adore how it works as separates. (BTW - it’s now sold out but I have linked many other options in this post.) It’s even inspired me to get a pink suit next and now I’m on the serious hunt for one.
What’s your favourite colour this spring?

These Affordable Jeans Look SO Expensive But Aren't
WHAT I’M WEARING
IRO Paris patent leather jacket (similar here)
Anine Bing City Love sweatshirt, $169
Aritzia Ex Boyfriend jeans, $128
Saint Laurent Lou Lou bowling bag (similar here)
Bonlook Jerry sunglasses
3.1 Phillip Lim patent leather boots (similar here)
I love me a good pair of jeans and have my favourite tries, tested and true designer brands - Rag & Bone, Jbrand, AGolde. They fit well and the quality is always good but the price tag is something I could do without.
While I’m open to the idea of affordable denim, I find the fit and quality is usually a bit off so I don’t even bother unless they’re Levi’s. Anyway, I was online shopping from bed late one night because I couldn’t sleep and ended up ordering a pair from Aritzia’s Denim Forum line. Long story short, I fell in love with them and have been wearing them non-stop so I recently bought the same pair in the lighter wash.
These Ex-Boyfriend jeans fit true to size, are 100% cotton so they’ll get better with each wash, and the fit is superb. Even with my hips and no bum, I love the way they hug my curves perfectly.
For $128, I say these are the best jeans in the affordable category that I’ve found to date.

Standout From The Crowd & Wear Neon Pink
Last week I attended an event where pretty much every single person was wearing beige and I stroll in wearing bright neon pink. LOLZ.
While beige is clean, classic and the colour for spring, I also love the strong contrast of a bright pop of colour. It’s exactly what I need during these cold winter months to lift my spirits and keep me warm. Plus standing out from the crowd is way better than blending in don’t you think?
